There is no doubt about that even countries that
continue to implement the Basel 2 framework and have
no plans to implement Basel 3 in the near future,
are introducing countercyclical measures and follow
the new Basel 3 standards and principles.
There are no clear Basel 2 news any more, everything
has to do with both, Basel 2 and Basel 3. To be
precise, the transition from Basel 2 to Basel 3,
sooner or later.
